This morning's batch:

Uwgbasoxbeebd - https://bb.oolite.space/memberlist.php?m ... ile&u=5129
zkbwqjfvfp - https://bb.oolite.space/memberlist.php?m ... ile&u=5133

Dubious, but besides being a 5-minuter, nothing concrete. (Of course I cannot see any attempted posts...):

RernGofeRinge - https://bb.oolite.space/memberlist.php?m ... ile&u=5148

Out of curiosity, now that the first-post filter is in effect, is there still a point in reporting stuff like the first two? Our katana-wielding compatriots seem to be pretty conscientious in checking up on new arrivals, and it's not like you need a rocket-surgeon to spot them...

A thousand eyes are better than 4.

It's not unknown for a spammer to slip into the shoal because a new member joins shortly after, pushing the spammer off the newest member spot, which is the first thing I look at each time I log on. So yes, is the short answer, keep up the tagging. For example next weekend I'm going to be away for four days, so the katana wielding will be down to EV (and Ahruman who is almost as prolific!)

Ah, yes. But it's a two-click affair to take a far superior look: First Members on the upper right-hand side, then Joined column to get the 50 freshest faces. Any new arrivals with a www attached stick out like a sore thumb. Is what I do, anyway.

Speaking of what I do, a bit more archeology:
Please be advised that the nature of these are such that I'm not necessarily advocating any action; I just dug them up for a little inspection.

12-minute visitor. Website 3D related. Supposedly has free Wings3D tutorial, but I couldn't find it in the 10 seconds I spent looking for it. Contact email is olblue@, so site most likely belongs to account-maker.

Site appears to be some sort of music related search page. I get fairly local results when going there, so it probably checks IP or something.

I hereby put forward the motion to officially induce CheeseRedux in the clocktower.

Give the man a spam assassin badge, please! :D

I had a total PSU failure yesterday... I'm now running an under-powered, jury-rigged system which could go at any time.
If one or both of us are taken-out for a while, it's very handy to come back and find them all nicely tagged, ready for the attentions of katana.

No, spare us that... however, you do have to take an oath of celibacy.
