I'll fix Lazarus (I noticed post-PDF-ing that all the "Parts" had become a single P (something about it being bold - Open Office 3.0 - now have 3.1 so will try again)) - so once fixed, do I need to host it somewhere and have it linked on the wiki or can the wiki host?
You'll need to get it hosted somewhere, go for Drew's offer, and maybe the talent from his stories will leak into yours!

The wiki only takes image uploads:

Thanks to Gimi, I got an eBook in my inbox tonight (31st May 2014 - Release of Elite Reclamation)!

Drew, Disembodied spotted a typo in the description for Ascension on the Oolite stories page.
Oolite stories on Elite Wiki - Before wrote:
[[Ascension]] - ”A tale of what might happen when an example of sophisticated technology is suddenly thrust upon a backward culture stepped in religion.”
Oolite stories on Elite Wiki - After wrote:
[[Ascension]] - ”A tale of what might happen when an example of sophisticated technology is suddenly thrust upon a backward culture steeped in religion.”
As I had copied this from your website, then this typo still exists there! Might be an idea to fix it?!

This is not entirely true. The wiki also takes ZIPs. So all you need to do to commit a text file (or an OXP) is to zip it. This is, by the way, how quite a number of OXPs are hosted on the wiki itself. The only real limitation is the size.

Though it also helps if the database server is actually up!
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

you could change the background colour of the website from black to #040608 (that's the shade of grey the nav bar sits in). It'd all blend really nicely then.

Probably the gamma settings on your monitor. It's really noticeable on my two screens. Plus, if you're going to do something you might as well do it right.

EDIT: Looks good.
