I once heard of a plan to end spam by having antispam bots that attacked websites of spammers with a trillion requests and made so many phony requests to purchase their products that it would become a very costly affair to sort out any real orders and make spamming an expensive way to get any business at all.
Unfortunately I don't really think that spamming will end before we track down the physical locations of the buggers and start to show up in mobs with torches and pitchforks outside their homes.
How about those plug-ins for phpBB that Selezen mentioned in another thread..?
