As a playtester I HAVE to say that she flies as beautiful as she looks. I've messed up docking at a Jaguar Company base and bounced off instead of blowing up. Though I was on absolute minimal thrust.

Limited? If you wanna deploy an escort, there's an OXP for that. Check the list again. There's a whole weapons category.
Wiki OXP List has quite a selection.

Cobra mk3 front completed... and it IS limited in the fact that... how can a cruiser class ship only have 4 lasers? plus the turrets are very limited too in his kind of fire you can't also manneuver the turrets ther's only 4 types of lasers and plus they can point just only ONE direction at a time

rerun? and yes im remaking all the ships.. also i will do several improvements.. .like having VERY BIG docks suitable for a new genation of superships, you will be able to dock something like a behemoth on any "home" station o.o battleships will be doable now, a lot of things will come with this new ship set

Thanks - glad you like it. Hopefully I will be able to release it in the next week or two.
I also like the look of the models you have been posting screen shots of. Do you intend to release them ? If you do it would be good to name them something like Xairon Cobra Mk III etc so that these ships can be installed in addition to the standard ships already in Oolite.
This would give a great variation of ships.

Good luck on reworking ALL the ships from EVERY OXP. I'm pretty sure all that's not necessary.
A: With minor tinkering, you can take a capship-docking station OXP like the
Nuit Space Station and place it in all systems.
B: If you can figure out manned turrets with a competent piloting AI in OXP format, why haven't we seen it? If you want a good base to work with, try the
Genesis.
C: Remodeling every ship from every OXP is taking all the work done by every OXP author who's created a ship and giving them the finger for all that hard work.

Rese im not remodelling ALL the ships just the standart ones XDD and this will making capital ships able to dock in any system o.o also id like to know if FINALLY you can make independent engine pods i mean a pod that if it blows up the exaust flame stop appearing it would be just nice to have that XD even more if affects ship's speed

*shrugs* Stupidity happens.
For example.
EDIT: I think subentities would do that. Make them frangible... Not sure, I'm a pilot not a ship designer. With the new development, you might be able to script the speed change... Hmm, a bolt-on engine equipment OXP would be interesting.

commanderxairon - Are you aware that you can alter the eternal views in the shipdata.plist so that you can view larger ships from further away so that can see all of your ship ?
