Thx - with static cutscreens and conversation trees, we have achieved 1990s levels of RPG gameplay technology. Onward...

Re: image editing:
http://www.pixlr.com/ has been very handy for me occasionally.
At work we aren't allowed to install software, and if a colleague I'm visiting asks me to do some basic stuff to his/her pics, I can either go back to my desk and fire up Photoshop, or do it at their own desk, getting live feedback what exactly they want. (and teach them how to do it, in showing what to click et c , of course )
It's almost as as powerful as Gimp or Photoshop.
Downside is, it's flash-based, so not every-bodies cup of tea...

GIMP Portable: No standard Windows install required, simply run from a USB drive.

Is this a rare sighting of the new Griff Silver Thargoid?
Rumours say that it's a tough one.

Oh well... I docked without clearance... again. Station control just don't seem to appreciate good piloting.
Those
BGS screens are great!

The message is not about clearance but about being a minor offender. You already got a warning before docking by a viper that you will be fined on docking.
That message should still be somewhere in your comms-log.
This "cleaning" message (and the fine) was already generated since at least 1.65 as a short living on-screen message, somewhere at the lower half of the F5 screen after docking. Most of the times I even hadn't the change to read it properly before it disappeared again. Since 1.74 this message and the clearance messages are moved to the report screen were they make a bigger impact on the commander.
One good thing though: Because of your community service by "cleaning up after the craboids", your minor offender record has been cleared and you are accepted by the station community again as a clean pilot.
On the bad side: this cleaning job took you a full day. Bad news when you were on a time pressing contract.
