No, just a vector3D. If you can't work out the rotation bit to get your feet closer to the floor than your head, then there's little hope (or you're drunk)...

Yup, a quaternion was wrong: Wandering is normally in the x-y plane (2D). The up/down factor of the hills added the z- coordinate (3D) but we went wrong with the 180° rotation (4D) of the quaternion.Svengali wrote:You mean... QUATERNIONS? Giles help!Thargoid wrote:It depends which way you're facing
But the next day we went back and found the cave entrance within 15 minutes, and descended into the entrance pit of the cave.

Mrs Murphy, tends to throw a strop if I spend too much time in front of the PC in the evenings, and I don't enjoy being Court Martialled. But I discovered the other day that clicking on the banner leads to a back catalogue of shows. Very nice, and that's my early morning listening whilst coding/playing sorted for the time being...a good way to start the day.

I've been using that page too! Very useful, and a way to get the experience even though I usually can't make it for the live show. I occasionally wonder if it might be possible to make a YouTube playlist, so that I don't have to open each link individually, but to be honest, the current format works well enough!

Re: The Oolite chatroom
I have just announced to Mrs_SandJ that we will be "Listening to someone else's choice of music this evening, so if you wanted to listen to anything on the radio: tough."
She said: "Someone else's choice of music? Isn't that what every radio station does?"
I should've married a thicky.
Like she did.

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Re: The Oolite chatroom
I have started doing that. (Done with Halloween special only so far and that is currently private). Now that I know someone else would be interested I will do the rest. The only issue with this is that I can't do it for shows number 6 and one of the tracks from Show 1 as they are non-Youtube shows/tracks.Mauiby de Fug wrote:I've been using that page too! ObNothing: this morning I caught myself wandering around the house going, "scoop scoop scoop scoop".
Mrs Talisker was entirely nonplussed, and I don't think my explanation helped very much.

Do you also find youself walking round opening and closing your first two fingers when looking for the scissors? Or pause half-way up the stairs and realise you can't remember what you were going for - nor whether you were going up or coming down?Talisker wrote:ObNothing: this morning I caught myself wandering around the house going, "scoop scoop scoop scoop".

Either way, I suggest you don't install hOopy Casino.
