Just so you're aware, maaarcooose, the problem you were having with the plumes moving back at speed has now been fixed in trunk.

I think it would be awesome to have a player flyable death glider (from stargate). Anyone interested?

The Death Glider, at 28m long, is only just over half as long as an Adder (45m), and indeed is even smaller than an Orbital Shuttle (35m). In fact it would probably be more like a 1TC cargo canister in size

It also has two foreward weapon mounts. One could make a death glider variation about the size of a cobra mk 1 and has a core and a aft laser mount.

It certainly is a cool design, so a bit bigger would make sense, and I'm sure an Oolite laser is easily worth two Goa'uld lasers

I'd love to see something like the Lex (from Lex) and the Defiant (Star Trek DS9)
