Ahh... Teaser and the Firecat was a good album (which Cat Stevens adapted into his children's book of the same name).

Yes indeed - and an excellent character he is too. The Mote in God's Eye is probably one of the best sci-fi novels out there!

Ok Parahuans are a race in this book. The book was also first published in Analog under a different title.
