No, but I found this one before its predecessor (my wife used to use it on another board) when I went to restore it (it needed a re-upload), so thought it was a good time for a change...

I noticed some spam got through earlier tonight, a long rambling post I think about some money scam...I didn't bother to actually read it...but thinking back I seem to remember a link in the post, and I think it was a first post. Has the 'link-jammer' been put back in place, you know the thing where newbies can't post links for their first few posts?

Nope. We’re currently running an umodded BB.

CR - it's useful to put the name of the spammer too - if they come in thick and fast we can get to the stage where a genuine new member joins and is given the profile number of somebody who has just been tagged (and deleted) as a spammer.

Duly noted. (Reminder carved into the handle of my butterknife.)

The former two already have posted spam; their posts are duly reported (nice button
).
EDIT: Ninja'd by Uncle Reno, but he hasn't got the last one.

Keep a note of the IPs and email addresses, we can always blacklist them.

I’ve been trying to find where to view IP addresses, as I could on the old BB as admin. Maybe I don’t have that permission anymore?
Edit: I can view the IP of a post, but not of a 'suspect'.

People don’t have IP addresses. Yet. :-)

I don't know - go away for a quick cup of Joe and when I get back EV has launched and got back, completely with a maniacal grin on his face (actually he always looks like that...)
