I got a Zaquessoan Evil Juice into the canon though!Cody wrote:Yeah, I was surprised at that. As for the other octants: alas, no Zaquesso, and no Cequququ! Oh those Cequququian shrew steaks - so tasty!cim wrote:Some surprising absences on the G1 list - no Xeer, no Inera.
Thanks. I just wish I was better at it. I really like the Empire one, but the rest? Eh, they're okay.ClymAngus wrote:mossfoot wrote:Tried my hand at a couple of posters in a retro style for the game
Ah the erstwhile silhouette, intended as a derogatory term it has since been elevated to high art for it's capacity for starkness. Wonderful thing is it's easy to vector and I like vectors.
<sighs> When I read stuff like that, I cannot help but feel... annoyed/disgusted/disheartened... I can't really describe it! Ho-hum!SagA can be reached in less than 12 hours, about 700 jumps (constant jumping in a 39.4ly capable ship). The only thing slowing you down is the last 2k where the planner gives up and you have to plan each jump manually. The furthest point you can reach from Sol is MYEIA THAA RI-B D13-1 [-1575, -17, 65349] 65,368 light years from Sol. I've searched the edge high and low, that's as far as I could get in an Anaconda with 41.17ly max jump range.
I got her included in the NPC database. She's out there... somewhere.Bugbear wrote:Somewhere out there should exist the next Rebecca Weston...
No comment from this lone-wolf!Powerplay is a new way to play Elite: Dangerous. In Powerplay, you can participate in an ongoing battle for interstellar conquest and control that enhances every aspect of the Elite: Dangerous experience. When Powerplay launches, you'll be able to ally yourself with any one of a number of galactic Powers, earning valuable perks, reputation bonuses and credits for your allegiance. As a trusted ally of your chosen Power, you will be able to guide their strategy, take on special objectives to advance your shared cause, and dominate human space. Your choices and actions will have a direct and visible impact on the balance of galactic power.
"If you choose to participate in Powerplay, it will add a whole new dimension to Elite: Dangerous," Lead Designer Sandro Sammarco says.
Because that's what it's all about, isn't it? A 100-billion star galaxy that you can skip across in a weekend, and where whole solar systems can be turned upside down with a flick of your joystick. Do you think maybe some people might have a teeny bit of an ego problem?Your choices and actions will have a direct and visible impact on the balance of galactic power.
Either that, or it's more sales-weasel codswallop - I ain't too sure which! Perhaps both?Disembodied wrote:Frontier are rapidly going bonkers.

I'm still waiting, Philip.
I assume that's "Your [collective]" rather than "Your [singular]" - for an individual player, the difference between that and a random number generator might be rather hard to determine.Disembodied wrote:Because that's what it's all about, isn't it?
