lovely! I'm presuming it's not an ad for Oil of Oolay (ah-ha a YAH ad I've not thought of before!) given the complexion of the stylised (emperor) face?

A sneek peek of what I've been working on.
It will be a while before I release everything else in the upcoming theorhetical Galactic Navy/Thargoid Mega-pac, releasing this station early so other people can retexture it and use it in their oxp's.
Requires Galactic Navy OXP if used as is, otherwise feel free to use the model/texture in your own oxp's... Public Domain, etc.

What that thing needs is some explicit normals. ;-)

Fantastic and the Great A is right - there's a model crying out for his newly introduced explicit normals - go on do it...

Unfortunatly, Obj2DatTexNorm.py seems to masacre my models,
distorting, twisting, mangling and deforming them,
maybe one day when a stable version is released I'll look into it.

In th RH part of the picture is there a bit missing on the LH upper arm? (where it should attach to the superstructure?)

Yes, But both arms are horribly deformed, the model works fine when compiled with Obj2DatTex.py, but not Obj2DatTexNorm.py
And It's only the arms that are deformed, the rest looks great with explicit normals.
It's kind of like Explicit normals are Genies, they grant you your wish of looking like Sean Connery as James Bond...
But at the price of having your arms replaced with little midget arms with weird growths on them. :P

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
