Lol well seeing as Smivs got the year and the film right I'm awarding that to him. Sorry marcusrg, but you did name two other films in with it and didn't give the year!

Smivs is up then...?

I actually thought it was S&J due to pose a question?

Reading back I think you're right, so I'll happily give way.

Please carry on with the ad hoc questions. I have had a couple of stories in mind but cannot recall the author not title myself.

OK, this one might take a bit of googling :)

The actor I'm thinking of was famously short of a limb in a crime drama movie, but is probably better known as one of the principal characters in a long-running TV sci-fi series, and appeared in another long-running TV sci-fi franchise as two different characters.
Name the Actor, the four characters and the movie and two TV series.

Damn, beat me to it!

Actually, fairly easy to Google. Tried "crime drama movie one arm", which led me to "The Fugitive", at which point Andreas Katsulas' name jumped out at me, and his Wikipedia then gave it away. And just for completeness' sake, 'twas "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Enterprise". (EV only named the franchise...)
