And what is, may I ask, so wrong with Zero-G. Rollerball, may I remind you, is very 70s
Good point about the starports though. Didn't think of that (D'oh!). Still, the text should be changed to upgrading as you've suggested.

Perhaps there are public health reasons behind this. Processing all cargo through a single (or a few) orbital facilities would make it much easier to contain diseases, parasites and other invasive species.
And as long as Captain Hesperus is around, We can be sure this policy stays in place
.
Best wishes,
Oscar

Alas, that net has one too many holes in it. These holes are called 'Green Jamesons'.....

Trumbles
This species deserves special mention as out of the millions of different species that populate the universe the Trumble is one of the most well known. Often seen as a pest and pet in equal measure these small creatures have a habit of infesting living space if not looked after in the correct manner. Although there are many galactic myths about the Trumbles (breeding continuously is one) the space traveller would be advised to check their facts with reliable sources. Trumbles require specific diets and all reputable traders will inform you of how to keep them and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle of the for animal.
In recent years there has been a lot of Trumble baiting and Trumble Turning (a pilot stocks up on Trumbles and flies out to the nearest star...well you can guess the results). Despite being edible a number of protest groups have started to voice their concerns. Indeed, there have been reports of some Trumble rights activists attacking trade ships and sellers of these unusual animals.

I see the makings of a classic moment once Hesperus' OXP finally comes out:
You can see the Dubious Profit being chased around the galaxy by bright green-coloured ships of animal rights activists. That is, until he Q-bombs the lot of them and jumps away..
Best enjoyed from a distance.

Here is a code I rote. I'm not a good writer, so be nice.
BEN’S CODE
I: all captured and scoped slaves must be freed, All who Don’t follow this will be killed.
II: All trumbles must be Kept under control, 100 credits will be taken from pay till they are fixed.
III: The lower ranks/youngest will be put first if we need an escape.
IV: No smoking or doing narcotics on the ship, all who do this will be fired.
V: If we can’t beet/flee/escape pirates, we will join them, then when least expecting it, kill them.
VI: All escape pods will be either scooped or let escape, and only fire upon if it is a hunter trying to kill us.
VII: No men/women that have famielys/are married in the crew. If they bring families that are useful, and extra escape pods, shall join.
VIII: Don’t get TOO drunk.
IX: if rated out by a crew member, They will face punishment, ranging from getting pay docked to getting marooned in witch space or being marooned in a escape pod close to the sun, and hit with a mining laser.
X: Panicking is frowned upon.
Don't panic: FSOneblin

Very neat LB!
I did not try to edit that WIKI page because I was afraid to mess up the table. I played with the idea to ask someone to do it but you did it. Great mate!
What did you think of the 'ship shrinking storage technique'? used in the ICO's?
Greetings,
P.A. Groove
BTW the naming P.A. Groove stations comes from Griff. But he really should be credited for making the great models.

Hi FSOneblin! I like the idea of a Pilot's Code, and what you've got is, in essence, pretty much spot on. The only thing I would suggest is simplifying it, i.e. making the rules a little less specific, a bit more universal and a bit shorter, to make them easier to apply to as many different pilots in as many different situations as possible. To that end I'd suggest something like the following edited version (same rules, just rephrased!):
BEN’S CODE
I: Say No to Slavery.
II: Your Pets are Your Problem.
III: Children and Jamesons First.
IV: Screw the Nut.
V: If You Can't Beat Them, Join Them.
VI: Always Scoop Escape Pods.
VII: Blood is Thicker than Water, but Less Useful than Quirium.
VIII: No, Really – Screw the Nut.
IX: Keep Your Hands to Yourself, Your Nose Clean and Your Mouth Shut.
X: Don't Panic.

Ok the backgrounds on the Griff Kraits are already there. See the Griff Krait OXP tread in the Expansion pack forum.
