There was also a Galaxy 9 in Elite Plus from what I remember. I would rather be ranked as ELITE rather than Archangel... 8)

There was apparently a G9, but I can't remember it. Your rank stayed as Elite - only your title changed to Archangel.

Really? So I'd be Archangel Pleb? That makes me sound like some Twilight loving goth kid, haha... That's one feature from Elite Plus that better not ever make it into Oolite... :x

I think you can be pretty sure you are safe from that one. But it doesn't mean that someone wont make an oxp to do exactly that!!!

I think that was an archived save, so I'd have made sure to be clean!

I've played Xeptatl's Sword, you indeed have to kill much nastier thing than stations without shields, was a blast though!

It took quite a bit to get right and it even resulted in alterations in the Oolite code to get right. A big thumbs up to the devs for that.
But as a mission XS is a very good one that I keep going back to.

Played it Twice, first I made some mistakes and had to ask the devs for some help, worked like a charm though... :)

AArggh! Bit of a problem - CTD each time as I leave the station in the great rift in galaxy 7. Funny since this has worked before but then I got it wrong a bit further on and so I went back to do it again. Shame as I was thoroughly enjoying it. I haven't had a CTD since 1.76.1.. Anyone else had this ?

Strange, the prob. I mentioned earlier appears to be related to the installation of Wide Screen HUD.

Hi Foox, and welcome to the board.
I'm glad you're enjoying the mission. It sounds like you are OK now as far as the mission goes if it was the HUD causing the problem.
It might be worth mentioning this on the thread for the HUD, as feedback and bug reports are always useful.

Thanks. Yes, great mission, and as you guessed by removing the hud just for that bit I was able to carry on. I checked it a couple of times and the effect was the same, so I left a message on the HUD page as you suggested.

Hi,
Been a while since I've been on here but the Elite Kickstarter got me back in my ship...

I'm doing Xeptatl's sword in an Asp which I think can't have fuel scoops. So when I ended up in witchspace I got out of it by energy bombing and then using my auxilliary fuel tank and jumping to veenar.

I think this confuses the script as when I arrived at Veenar the agent sent a fuel missile to me and I can't scoop it. So I flew to the station but it didn't trigger the script to tell me where to go to the next rendez-vous.

I presume I can just manually go to Tezaeded but it's going to take longer than going through wormhole chains.

I tried amending the save file but it seems that a checksum has been introduced since 1.68.1 (when I last played, on 1.76.1 now) so the modified save file is ignored.

So should I just fly to Tezaeded manually or do I need to 'fix' something. And is there a small bug fix to be done?
