As ever, it's beautifully done.
In the special thanks - it's "pagroove" (but we all know who you mean!)
Thank-you for allowing me to contribute.

Whilst we are all kings of our own endeavours and I try to keep dictatorial stances to a minimum. A dictator is one in name only, he must be given that power to dictate by the people, for this trust I thank each and every one of you.
Now (after some small fixes to chart three (upload tonight)) Onward to the warzone to map 4!
I hope you've all brushed up on your battlefield and war terminology because it looks like we're going to need it.

Dibs on Esonlear (bottom RH side) for an OXP.. it's the perfect location for something I've had in mind for a while...

Bottom three - bottom left hand corner of G4.
Wealthy Industrial Democracy Xetiis, fairly poor agri-Commune Zaisza (communist because it's so poor?) both human colonials (same original colony ship?) in the middle another and more wealthy (small pop, more cash) agri-communist state in the shape of the humanoid but non-human Laanat.
Perhaps Zaisza is only communist because Laanat is - perhaps Zaisza brought communism to Laanat (brother's to the cause and all that) to stop itself being cut off from Xetiis...?
Really is a question of "Three's a crowd", just how long can Zaisza stay stable with that kind of pressure?
Is any of this helping?

In G4 bottom of top left hand corner cluster you appear to have two Laisxela's.

Poor old Esonlear! Above it that great raft of Anarchies! "The Bowl of Chaos"?

I was thinking going on the galactic war hypothersis that we discussed at length in the galaxy 4 thread. It occurs to me that if most anarchies where cold war fighting / thargoid battle fronts, then you could have sweeping new areas denoting combat hot zones. A band across those anarchies seems like a good place to start. It's the only way I can explain a stable system being left on it's own like that.
It would give the galaxy a "under siege, scorched earth" feel to it. What do you think?

<rubs_hands_together>oh the possibilities!!!
However, as these are "charts" and not actual galaxies how do we explain why only chart4 is like this? Where is it in relation to the rest?

PhantorGorth had an interesting perspective on this.. check out his
Ooniverse Map. The layout for the 8 charts has some merit, I think... combined with ClymAngus' hive suggestion, it would explain things nicely..
