So Drew. How many OXPs are you up to, so far? Did you find any to look particularly impressive on the new machine?
Sleep? Who needs sleep? Got game. No need sleep.

None yet. Haven't had time to download any. With 4 new laptops in the house I'm still burning recovery DVDs and establishing backups across the network!
Cheers,
Drew.

No time to knock out "Alien Items" yet? Hope this isn't impacting on your novel writing time - although I guess you've still got your commuter time no matter what.

I've tried to resist but I've got to brag.
I too am in the process of replacing my aged Dell Latitude laptop (1.3GHz processor, 512MB ram, don't know what sort of graphics) which has denied me the ability to load up any eye-candy OXPs...I'll test my desktop to Cobra time tonight...
...in about 10 days, I'm picking up an Alienware with i7 processor, 256GB SSD, 16GB RAM, Radeon 6870M 1GB graphics, 1920x1080 screen.
The machine is actually intended to be a desktop replacement with the ability to run multiple instances of server virtual machines but I have high hopes for the solid state drive.
And if I can find the drivers, I'll rip off the bloatware that is Windows and replace with Debian Linux for that extra edge...
So...Christmas is coming early for me this year.
