Hello Yah-Ta-Hey, Found myself in the same predicament, fortunatly I had the 'fuel tanks' to deal with it.
Just like to say thanks for the other suggestions too, as a fellow new commander, I didn't know about the other options.

to my Brothers, I thank you for your help... the options will be explored and implemented...
to TGHC- in a previous Elite life... I was Elite and now have started over in this new hunting ground of Oolite universe. There are many lands and people to meet and explore.. hopefully my coup stick will have many scalps very soon. right now I have collected 73 in the past 14 days.... with the help of options, I and Tatanka will hunt those who dwell between the jumps. They are worthy opponents.
To El Viejo- yes, Navajo.... in english.. rough translation is: "very good" Tatanka is Ogalla for "Buffalo".
I am currently working in galaxy 1 in the south west corner, working my way to the east. Sooner or later, our paths will cross... until then.. May the Mighty Spirit keep your lances hot, coup sticks filled, and your lodges filled with stories of valor and might.
