You can order fireworks at any station, not only main stations (perhaps I'm going to exclude Rock Hermits, because I doubt they would have the necessary manpower). I've got one from a Superhub, which isn't aligned to the planet. So I had only the stars as a background. I'm sure it would look pretty in a nebulae-rich system. :)
