The first album that really ‘pushed’ my hi-fi was An Electric Storm, by White Noise… a groundbreaking album, in many ways… probably the first real electronica album, and definitely not for easy listening. Delia Derbyshire had a major part in it… she was a goddess of sound.

I've never seen "Sounds Outstanding" anywhere else ever...

You’re right… even Google can’t seem to find a mention of it, nor can my favourite ‘old vinyl’ site.
At least An Electric Storm is available on CD these days… it’s been on my wish list for a while, as I no longer have the vinyl.
