With shipyard-overrides.plist, there is! All it takes is 'a bit' of homework! :)

Perhaps, a scripting request is upcoming. If only it was possible to "read" all the relevant stats from player ships via java script and make the ship price base writeable via the same ... would that be possible?

Maybe I'm going to play around with pricing formulae once again ...
