Why hasn't there been an announcement about this in the Announcements area?

Because test releases have always been announced in their respective platforms' subforums. When we get to the next stable, we can consider putting a big one in the Announcements area.

LOL. I'm in the same boat - 'world-cup widower'. Don't mind at all though.

Isn't it supposed to be the other way around though?
The glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

D/led and started 1.74. Got the following re: incompatiable oxps:

Asteroid Storm 3.55
Drones 1.11
Flying Dutchman
Military Fiasco 2.4.4
Thargoid Wars 4.4
UPS Courier v1.6.1

Wiki says Asteroid Storm and Thargoid Wars will be sorted, but is there any news on if or when the others might be upgraded?

PS: Good work, devs. Long time player, but only just joined the forums (though I'd dropped by to have a nose about from time to time).

First, the wiki is currently read-only, so we can't update it. It has been since before the release of 1.74 on Sunday.

Drones has been replaced (along with the Anti Missile System, Captured Thargons, Missile Rack, and Probe OXPs) by Thargoid's new Armoury OXP. Available at: http://www.box.net/thargoid

Eric Walch has got v3.56b10 of Asteroid Storm available, with v4.0 coming soon. Also he has v4.5 of Thargoid Wars, v1.7 of UPS Courier, and v2.5 of Military Fiasco. All available at: http://www.box.net/shared/i9aznk80x9

Flying Dutchman is the only one I'm not sure about, but perhaps someone else will know if there is to be a new version of that.

Flying Dutchman is one of McLanes, and he has already announced he's still working on updates. So a little patience is needed here ;)

Drones is going to be retired as and when the wiki will let me. I'm not going to pull it until I can remove the wiki page links to it (and replace them with ones to Armoury as JazHaz correctly says), but it's not 1.74 compatible and never will be.

JazHaz: Cheers for the info. I checked the Wiki first rather than just come on here and risk people going 'Info on the Wiki, mate' (though I also saw Wiki problems).

Thargoid: Thanks for that. I just wondered if there were known issues/works in progress. Obviously I wasn't expecting everything to work perfectly with 1.74 or updates to be available immediately. Just looking for news, really. :)

Holy Smokes! While I'm not a long time player of Oolite, I know an impressive list of changes, fixes and bug squashes when I see one!

Many kudos to the dev team!

Cheers.
