Dunno how they expect us to use our work computers for non-work purposes at all.....
I consider myself very fortunate - since for me "work purposes" covers a multitude of sins - gfx demos, cpu/memory thrashing utils, network sniffers, et al
What is it you actually do?
I'm a Lecturer in Defence Simulation and Modelling (Cranfield University - Shrivenham Campus (formerly the Royal Military College of Science), formerly a Research Scientist for the MOD (Dstl (formerly DERA (formerly DRA (formerly RAE)))))

Courses/MSc Modules I teach on include (but not limited to): Network Distributed Systems, Computer Graphics, Wargaming and Combat Modelling, Neural Networks, Introduction to Defence Simulation...

you get the gist?

Whenever you say where you work, I get nostalgic. Did my masters degree (Design of Information Systems) at RMCS. Enjoyed it tremendously.

It's a great place to do a Masters (even part-time) - funnily enough I did my MSc part-time (1999-2005) at Shrivenham in...

...Defence Simulation and Modelling.

I know, we discussed this briefly a while back when I was posted to the UK. I did my master in 1997. Have to say it was my best year at school ever.
