It looks way cool, Raytheon.

It's what I imagine Alex Ryder's Cobby of The Dark Wheel fame looking like after it's reincarnation from a rusting junkheap found in the Orbital Graveyard, to a fully kitted and repaired pirate-whacker.

I thank ya kindly for the warm welcome all!

Poro,
Only a 30" span Cobbie 3 but there may be more. Just waiting on a possible word from someone as regards that. May or may not happen so no breath holding here.
With ref to the gun, it probably will...it'll take a fair whack to do it but it wasn't for no reason that a tube of superglue was in me pocket when I delivered it.
Just in case... :P
After delivery, it's a S.E.P.

Loxley,
Delivered it a week ago last Friday, finished it a week or so before that.

Speaking for myself, an Asp, Imperial Courier, Wolf MkII and as big a Panther Clipper model as is rediculously possible are on my personal 'to do' list :D

Thanks all, much appreciated.
I try to do the best I can in bringing these beasties to life in a way other than in game on a computer monitor, that kinda thing is beyond me to be honest apart from some fiddling about I used to do with MS flight sim aircraft design.
Best left to the likes of your good selves methinks.

Just doing what I do....though the exact categorisation/definition of the 'doing what I do' bit is probably yet to be arrived at and some aspects probably not for mentioning in polite company.
:D

Saw the RC models you've also built. Never seen a four engined RC plane before (though you do say it flew like a pig lol).

This got me thinking, could you make a RC Cobra MkIII?

Hmm, just picturing that brings to mind the words of a certain deceased sci-fi writer: "The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't."

Ah, one of his best lines, among hundreds... he really could write.

Hmm, pretty metal work there. Not too shabby. I wonder if anyone's made the vanilla Elite ships out of paper/origami?
