Trouble is that the locally available UPSs give you about half an hour of battery power, which isn't nearly enough to finish a backup session.Micha wrote:UPS to the rescue? But it would of course be enough to cancel the session and shut down the computer safely. So actually, yes, my periphery equipment should be on UPS. Why isn't it? Same reason I only seriously contemplated my backup habits after the HD crash, I suppose.
