Commander McLane, salvage gangs are one of my favourite parts of the game.
Thanks! :D

I really like the detail on and inside the asteroid. :)
To be fair: The model is a work by Killer Wolf, and the shaders (light effects in the tunnel) are by Griff. I only had the idea to randomly place a ship under the machines, and added the flashers (especially the one featured in the screenshot which simulates the welding on the Cobra).

I like the last bit..."the masterful Oolite". Sums it up nicely.
It’s commanderful, too!

Incidentally, by pure coincidence those same screen shots can be found at http://www.oolite.org/gallery.

Which reminds me: the last screenshot - the one demonstrating the advanced nav array - had a bit of a graphic glitch (Reesdice printed twice, and with different size & position) that I noticed a while ago & was corrected in trunk a short-ish time ago while I was 'playing' with F6/F6.

Time to redo that picture? ;)
Hey, free OXPs: farsun v1.05 & tty v0.5! :0)

Yes, of course. But still I may take a tiny little bit of pride in the fact that they feature something I have done, please?

Since you ask… no. Because the selection of images for the gallery was of course completely random with no consideration given to aesthetic or technical merit. :-p

Should we include this article in the list for the 'real' wikipedia oolite article?
I know notability of the article has been established, but you never know, maybe in the future they raise the bar even higher.

How much higher than appearing in a games magazine can they reasonably raise the bar?

OK, already got the logical error I made, it's in introducing the word "reasonable", I guess ...

Did this ever happen? I wouldn't mind reading the article.
