you forgot the 3(or 6 for sli) extra video cards you would need to get anywhere near decent speeds... with 3 extra screens
Not to mention that you would properly need a whole new PC with enough CPU power and PCIe slots ... and an OS that allows for 4 video cards

Nah. If my 1.6GHz Atom with a crappy onboard can keep up with one screen, I should think a quad-core Athlon with pretty much any 2009 GPU (one of) could handle four screens. I mean that has to be 8 times the CPU and probably about 20 times the GPU performance...
