I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Oh, and the timer-crash-test.oxp works as intended. No crash - only error messages.

I'm on a Windows7 RC 64-but pc, I downloaded and installed the Oolite-1.73-test.exe and the timer-crash-test.oxp and it's working great, no crashes just lots of messages in the log.

Yeah...it seems to run fine so far. Looks good and I've got the precision roll/pitch toggle back. Deep satisfaction and contented grin. Thank you all.

One minor thing: it seems to have moved my HUD upscreen a little. No problem, just looks a little odd.

Silly question...how do I post a screenshot?

Take a screenshot with Shift+8 (i.e. *) this will be saved with your saved games. You then need to host it somewhere like photobucket or your own website and then you put the link to the image between the [ img] [ /img] tags seen at the top of the message window.

Does that make sense?

Thank you, DH.

I wondered if that was it. The search on this site is poor.

No worries - the search on this site is terrible - it's faster to come out to google put oolite plus whatever I'm looking for!

Let's see if this works, then.

Note the gap under the HUD. Same with the vanilla install.

How's this?

Image

Next to your image you'll notice there's actually some "IMG Code" in the "Share this image" box - if you take a copy of that and paste it here it'll work as above...

You've put it between [ url] [ /url] tags not the [ img] [ /img] ones - done it myself loads of times!

Just back from my first major incursion into an Anarchy system with the precision toggle in use.
Snuffin’ bandits and rescuing traders in peril. Very satisfying and lucrative, indeed.

Oolite 1.73 really rocks!

The Free Mexican Airforce is flying tonight!

You really had me worried for a moment. I loaded the same hud, and sure enough, it had a gap!

Then I tried 1.72, and there still was a gap!

Tried it in full screen, no gaps with either of them... what the... then it hit me: it's the shape of the window! Try and resize the window making it wider, and you shouldn't have a gap under your hud anymore!
