Alright, this Azzameen guy is me, but I forgot my password and replaced the computer carrying it.
Therefore, new screenname.

About this OXP, I downloaded it (deleted my own stuff to save space on the hard disk), and sadly noticed it's my original release.
So, the shapes and stats are the old ones from a time I didn't know Jack about Wings.

Now, I found my interest in Oolite lying on the floor somewhere, and will re-create the OXP, if anyone has interest in it.

Uhm, just thinking, how do I convert .obj into .dat?

There are cans of red paint and a strange "Painting rainbow for dummies" pack in the local coriolis, waiting for the TIE

So I take it there IS interest.
Currently, I'm re-designing the refitted Constitution-class from the Star Trek movies, to get a hang on it again.
After that, I'll try my hands on Star Wars again.

I can hear Lestradae whooping for joy - I think the Constitution is one of his most favourite of ships.

Well, I'm having a bit of trouble.
The original model I had created last year was pretty complex (all those curves), and I'm currently trying to cut it down on the polygons.
There are still 254 polygons, and as I understand it, that are 100 too many.
And I'm out of ideas.

I am indeed joyful, one of my inspirations for the RS/OSE meta-oxp was the observation of a pirate TIE Fighter hunting a lurking Constitution - and I thought, this is way cool.

So the TIE Fighter was yours.

If you redo the star wars ships and make additional models of the Constitution and other Trek/Wars ships, I would be honoured to include them to Oolite's Shipyards Extension.

I'm almost finished with the Constitution, only has a tad too many faces.
But I know where I can tweak that, so there'll be a test flight tomorrow.
Maybe a beta upload at the end of the week, who knows.
