Thanks again for the continued welcome guys!
I have spent a couple of evenings adding a few more OXP's to my installation (I like System Redux by the way!), and will no doubt be downloading the Realistic Planets OXP tonight, but are they compatible? I've not read the WIKI on them yet, so thought I may ask as I'm already typing...
I now have forward military lasers, all the navigation add-ons, heat-shields, docking computer, extra cargo space, injectors etc. etc. and starting to make some cash (and bag a few offenders along the way
)
However, a question re. the Planetfall OXP. In addition to heat shields and the docking computer, what else do I need to perform landings on planets and moons. I must be missing something. The highest tech level system I've visited is 12, and haven't yet seen any additional purchases to complete this task.
EDIT: I've just seen another thread asking a similar question and it mentions that level 9 and above will offer you the 'Planet Landing Ability', but I haven't seen it yet - although I meet system requirements with the Docking Computer and Heat Shields).

Heat shield, dock computers, tech 9+ and 5000 credits should be all you need to buy the Planetary Landing Capability, and you can then land on planets. No other requirements should be, umm, required.
And yes, System Redux and Famous Planets should play nicely together, FP was designed that way.
