WOW!

Thanks guys! I've been away for a while (well, at a certain point of view, I am still away), and somehow this topic wasn't marked with new posts when I loaded up the bulletins, so I've noticed it only by it's position among the other topics.
Diziet Sma, thanks for putting this on the Wiki!

However, this is not a final version of the translation (I still have to work out a few things, and there are some OXPs I think of translating). But meanwhile, Oolite translation is put aside as I'm working on something different, yet translation-related ;)
I have to ask: would I be able to edit this Wiki entry in the future? Should I have a Wiki account to do this? There's also another translation made before me by commander CatSam from http://www.elite-games.ru (great Russian resource dedicated to Elite-like games). There are links to translations of the game itself, Planetfall and Deep Space Pirates OXPs, and they're, IMHO, definetely worth credit here, so now I'm thinking of not just the link on the Wiki, but a page with a brief description and links to these different translations.

Wow, thanks for the PF translation! :D

I've added links to it to the Planetfall entries on the wiki (giving you due credit of course).

And to answer your question, yes anyone can edit anything on the wiki (that's the whole rational behind it). But you will need a wiki account, I think registration is available at the moment (if not just PM Winston).

I would also definitely agree that a page of links to all the various multi-lingual OXPs and translations would be a great thing to see (if it's not already there).

Oh, Thargoid, but thanks and credits for those translations are not for me! As I've mentioned, they're made by commander CatSam from elite-games.ru (I think I haven't made this point clear enough).

Thanks for the info about the Wiki, I plan to get there very soon.

EDIT:
To make things clear:
There is one translation of Oolite made by me, and there is another by CatSam along with his translations of Planetfall and Deep Space Pirates.
I've mentioned before in this topic that I should've visited elite-games.ru before starting the Oolite translation, because it already existed at the moment :)

Duly amended. I wasn't sure which was your work and which his from your post. Now you both get due credit, for translation and pointing us at it :)

Hi radcapricorn
You are not the only Russian playing Oolite.
Думаю, тебе будет приятно это услышать.

Я новичок на этом сайте, и только сейчас набрёл на твой пост...
Будет время, проверю твою русификацию...
В любом случае - спасибо за труд.

As someone learning Russian, I might give the translations a go!

Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to translate/collate the files!

I really liked "русификацию" - Russification :D

Google is - good enough?
I think you will be pleased to hear it.

I'm new to this site, and just now came across your post ...
Will be time, check your Russification ...
In any case - thanks for the work.

Дружище, ты не один из русскоговорящих. Я на целый год выпал из ритма. О руссификации задумался сам недавно ( а вообще я лет 15 назад переводил спектрумовскую Элиту). На этой неделе (обещаю) запущу сайт русской поддержки Oolite и уделю там внимание и твоей работе и и чем смогу помогу.

approximately it means:

Dude! You arn't the only Russian in Ooniverse:)
I was so busy and didn't pay attention to the Game since 2008. But now I'm ready for creative work and promise to start the Russian Oolite support site this week.
And of course I would like to cooperate with you.
