As a workaround of sorts, from 1.72 if yaw and roll are both assigned to ,/., yaw controls will be disabled.

Now, if someone would just submit a version of the BBC keyconfig with yaw assigned to something sensible… (I don’t use the config, so I don’t know what would be sensible.)

'[' and ']' are a good choice, being a handed pair, next to eachother, not previously assigned and not a million miles from ',' and '.'

I definitely read before of someone who had the same experience when loading the bbc controls into a 'new' 1.71 download.

The problem with [ and ] is that not all keyboard layouts have them. Also, the Mac implementation binds to character values, but the others seem to bind to key positions. This gets sort of messy from a support and documentation perspective.

Umm... I'm confused, your saying that on 1.72 roll will not be left and right arrow keys? What is wrong with left and right arrow keys? I know I could just use the same config folder, but still, what is wrong with it?!?!

No, no-one’s saying that. :-)

This post gives the list I use on a mac for bbc-like keys, I also mention a few caveats about other key changes that I made that others may not like in their version.

That's not a misspelling. When kay_advanced_nav_array was introduced (somewhere around 1.68?) it was spelled that way. So probably you ported your keyconfig-file from an older version, without changing the spelling?

Because indeed, at some point (since 1.70?) the spelling was changed to key_advanced_nav_array.

yep, that's what happened.
