Optimum keyboard arrangement?

Sorry for the delay. (my compy needed a reinstall) Old mac chip set HATES the new OS.

Anyway with this:

You should be able to make all of these:

it's 600 dpi so it's a bit big. but it should fit portrait onto a4, test one out first then twiddle with your printer settings if it doesn't fit. :)

These should cover all the major controls (I know there are lots of minor ones missed but it is a basic tool after all). If there is anything that Really annoys I can update this file no problem.

Right, back to ship design. :)

i've always thought the default oolite controls were actually quite well thought out, once one gets used to them

about my only gripe is that it's too easy to dump cargo when playing in the dark. i'd make dump "D" instead of "d", or move it to "f"/"F", so cycle cargo ("R") and dump are on the same vertical row, possibly protected by the "safety" of shift

Frame's idea of ` for space compass is good

can you move space bomb to shift+Tab, instead of just Tab?

i'd love a keyboard i could print out keys for like that, it looks so awesome!

I did a few changes to my layout, mostly because of my extensive use of yaw thrusters...now they are at q and e, ecm has moved to d, and ump to...x I think (I don't use that). Otherwise the default layout is pretty good...only the missiile key might be moved more to the left to be easier to use in battle.
