How true that is.
It doesn't matter what you're flying or how iron it's ass is, a Renegade is a tough customer. If you manage to survive a fight with one, you're going to have a huge repair bill.

Which oxp are we talking here? For long way round you get a pack of "renegades" popping up in your destination system.
Turned tail, ran and cut them to shreds with my rear facing Mil. Sure it was a little hairy but I've had a lot lot worse.
I take it these are another type of "renegade".

! Screw that for a game of canasta. It's one thing to be blown up by a pirate, but getting blown up by a pirate flying a ship that's camper than a brownie jamboree?
"In the run-down space stations of many Anarchies, groups of Renegades cheer each other as their names and ships appear on GalNet news bulletins"
These space stations are easily identified as they're all painted day glow blue with neon trimmings and have an unusually high number of sauna's and ballrooms. As 2 unfortunate Jamerson's who flew into one soon found out......

Fortunately, Renegade uberpirates are in an oxp, which means if you don't want to deal with them, then don't install the oxp.
It's recommended that you don't install the oxp until you're at least Deadly, have mad fighting skills, 3500+ kills, and have an ass of industrial tempered iron.

Don't forget: It's more fun to install them together with military.oxp!
