Overall not a bad episode at all, if a touch heavy on the comedy and puns. Although it does show up quite how awesome Richard E Grant would be in the main role itself (again).

Oh, and I also came across this which is extremely cool - an augmented reality model of the TARDIS.

Moffat rumoured the next regeneration might also be a gender change! Cool.

That rumour gets trotted out EVERY TIME.

And where's the proof? I haven't seen a single official statement to that effect. We'll only know for sure when there's a big media circus all over the BBC to announce the new Doctor.

Doctor Who fans were stunned when the writer of the hit BBC show, Steven Moffat, revealed that there is a very strong possibility of a female Doctor taking control of the Tardis in the not-so-distant future...

Score for feminists everywhere!

Moffat, who was speaking at the Edinburgh International Television Festival ahead of the new series of Doctor Who, addressed rumours that a woman is set to take over the starring role after Matt Smith's departure:

"[Attitudes to that idea] have been changing... It is a part of Time Lord lore that it can happen - a Time Lord could potentially turn into a woman. The more often it's talked about, the more likely it is to happen someday."
Yeah, still just a rumour. Hope it becomes reality someday. The Internet misogynist sect will probably explode out of rage :D

That's just Moffat yanking everyone's chain. There is of course the Doctor's "daughter" (female sort-of-clone of David Tennant's Doctor) still kicking about out there, which would cover "a very strong possibility of a female Doctor taking control of the Tardis in the not-so-distant future" without requiring the show's main character to change gender.
