I suggested creating a station with texture stuff so that it`s upper half looked like a hill or landscape part which could be placed into a planetary surface, with a docking port from anywhere between straight up or perpendicular to the surface.
Voila - name it "Lave Capital City" or the like and there you have your planetary landing station.
I was told that there could be a problem with the station/planet collision, but perhaps this could be switched off selectively so that this station and that planet have no collision detection? Don`t know if that`s possible, though.
Anyone with the nescessary scripting ability could do this, sadly I don`t belong to those able people. But then Ahruman wouldn`t have to do it
Solution
Greetings,

In Frontier some planets even had atmospheres and multiple starports - and the whole game fit on a single blue DD diskette (720 kB ... ?).
Oh the joy of suggesting instead of doing the dirty work
Could you?

Ehm. You cut up my post and paste your own earlier post into it as if I was quoting that instead of commenting on my own remark. . .
Oh noes!

You looked through my cunning plan ... which was to get you to think about my suggested solution for the implementation of your proposal
Damn!
What do you think about my suggestion, anyways

Ha ha!
That was a cunning plan worthy of Garp the Parp!
(For the few who remember him - er, I mean me!)
(Wish they'd reprint that series. I'd do an .OXP based on 'The Mush Rush'.)
