hey welcome TCBR,
Some points of advice: split up your big ambitious project into small sections that can be combined as you progress.
I fell into the tarpit of ambition once before.
focus on code, although fun, the graphical part takes alot of time and one can run out of steam as it were. There are many models available already, that you can use as placeholders.
