The best resignation I know of was a guy at a company national conference at a big hotel. He walked up to the MD and told him that he no longer required his services, gave him his resignation letter, walked out and got into a helicopter that had just landed at the hotel's helicpter pad and flew off. That was style!

Guess I'll have to go for "I am not a prosecutor. I am a free man." (No.6)

"Of all the things I didn't get where I am today by doing, I didn't get where I am today by accepting State briefs to prosecute single mothers and pensioners for the State!" (to para-phrase CJ in the Rise and Fall of Reginold Perrin).

"It is better to rule in hell than it is to serve in heaven." (Milton)

I am not entirely sure, and forgive me if I am intruding too far into your RealLifeā„¢ here, but ... perhaps part of your problem might be located here? I mean, who of us normal people really wants to have an insane attourney in court?

Whenever I need legal advice I have to call the mental health facility that houses my lawyer so they can reduce his tranquilisers prior to my court appearance.

My lawyer is very rich, but incurably mad. Happened shortly after my first court appearance, can't think why.......
