Why does it take so long to get to a docking station - the original was much quicker.
I find that ships hover near me so I cant use the J jump so I just sit there for half hour until they disappear of the radar or more than lightly another 6 ships appear so I cant attack them cos I die !!!

Some journeys from witchpoint beacon to planet are busier than others, if you go out of the space corrideor, you will avoid the traffic.

Can you explain that ? - what is the space corridor ?
Do you mean flying away from the planet then turning around and approaching from a differant angle although advice on how to do that would be helpful :D

Yes, exactly that. Just fly up or down, with your space compass showing the planet right on the edge. After a short while, continue flying parallel to your original course.

That's exactly right, after you have hyperspaced, turn using your navigational compass until the green disc is on the circumference and/or almost changed to red. fly in that direction using the jump drive for about 15-20 seconds ( you will get to know how much you need by watching the clock counter) and then head back to the planet the jump drive will get you there in seconds. Total flying time from the WP beacon can be under a minute to the big 'S' especially if you have injectors. The sunskimmers OXP adds traffic away from the witchpoint, so it's best not to put that in add ons untill you are ready (unless you are a masochist).

Yes.

You can make a folder named 'out' in your Ad-ons folder. Putting any expansion into that folder removes it effectively. If you have an expansion which you never want to use again, simply delete it's .oxp folder
