Use the down view from Externalviews.oxp, make a screenshot of your Supercobra and use your favorite graphics program to cut it out, resize it and put it in the HUD.

Thanks for that, I didn't realise there was an OXP for that. Should have searched the forums with more intensity.

@Lycanthrope: Good job. Perhaps you could make the HUD image with the SC available through http://imageshack.us/ or some other image hosting for others to use - and I could also put it in the zip, if it's ok with you.

Dear Dr.Nil,

I love your new HUD - i played happily with it all while 1.65 was the build to be in.

Then - LO! - along came 1.68, and the HUD overlay was off-kilter. Downloaded the latest (only) version of the HUD to be sure It was , then a quick search of the forum told me my answer - fiddled with the 'y' co-ordinates of the image, and behold - a lovely looking HUD once more.

But! - the wonderful developers came up with 1.69! A lot Smoother! A lot better!! My HUD overlay is in the middle of my Screen!!!

Fiddling with the 'y' coordinates of the image makes not a jot of difference.
Tried fiddling with the Image size - no luck. I've even pinched the 'image' code from another HUD that works in 1.69 and tried that in place, changing the image names etc etc, but nothing works. The only answers I can come up with on the forum tell me to change the x and y's.....

Please, Dr.Nil, or anyone, could you have a look at your wonderful HUD and help out this poor noob ?

Bug confirmed – 1.69 completely ignores x and y for image legends. Oops.

…and fixed. There is no workaround for 1.69, however, except not using a HUD with off-centre pictures in it.

How fortunate that I happened to be poking about in the HUD code at the time, so I knew what to look for. :-)
