Which is your explanation right there. It's those blue slimy rodents and large bug-eyed lizards who require 50G to prevent heart failure. For the rest of us weakling humans, we walk around in those spiffy G-suits. You did bring yours, didn't you?

Well you only need to put your G-suit on if you descend to the lower levels. Up near the axis, artificial gravity is much lower.

g=rw^2, where r is the distance from the axis of rotation and w(omega) is the angular velocity in radians/sec.

What's the angular velocity of the station anyway?
