How the hell did I manage to get a to-do list?

I only have really 1 problem with it being in Thargoid space.....in BSG these ships have the ability to jump from place to place, therefore why not ahve them in system, also.... wed need a whole new model of fighter ships(which i could look into on my spare time) and if they do only make appearances in Thargoid land it might be cool to have them battling Thargoid Carriers, that or add Base stars that the Cylons use( we already have the cylon raiders, just look at the Tesoura, just tweak it a bit)

Totally (well not quite totally) at random, has anyone noticed the similarity between Giles' Chopped Cobra and a Cylon Raider. Or am I utterly behind the rest of the Ooniverse?

I've knocked up a basic mesh for the main BSG ship, but didn't want to go any further if it's already been done. Has anyone got any idea what happened to this project?

Thargoids are much more effective than Cylon.

seriously though: it never took off.

That model looks way too smoothed; BSG70's style is blocky and dirty.

Well... I'll have to admit secretly at night without anybody looking... I've been making models of the Enterprize for Oolite... So i think sci-fi models are ok and i guess if you dont want em dont download em.

@ Danman: Perhaps you should know that there is already an Enterprise out there. Charlie has made it, for downloading just click his signature.

But don't let that put you off! Charlie built the Constitution class (though there is some debate about the *actual* class), but the Galaxy class, Excelsior class, Defiant (now that would be a good 'un!), the NX-01 Enterprise (another kewl model!) etc. have yet to be built. Perhaps a 'Star Trek' OXP could be a neat collab OXP?

I've managed to get the BSG70 in Oolite (see above), the size is 960 x 340 x 2027, what sort of size would it need to be for 2 docking bays to be added?

I did one too...



Go for your life though - dunno when I'm going to get time to do anything with it. Either that or I can send you the mesh.

@Selezen, seeing your mesh gave me the inspiration for the BSG I'm working on. Thanks for the offer, but I'll continue with my one because I've got the docking bay (wish it was bays!) working and some of the texturing done.

Hope you do finish yours, it's a big ooniverse out there and I personally would like to see more big ships roaming around.

I dunno if I'll finish mine - not enough room in this Ooniverse for more than one Galactica. I might turn it into something else.

No, please keep up with the BSG. It's a big universe. Each of you will bring their own take on the ship, so they won't be the same.

It's be the one who can code one to allow docking in both outriggers AND have Colonial Vipers as the defence ships/escorts I'll be looking out for!
