Not as tidy or aesthetically pleasing as some (possibly any) of the others but perhaps the clearest:
Not starting at Lave OXP
Similar to Nite Owl's 'Not @ Lave' but more explicit in what it does.

Thanking you all, gentlemen.
I've decided to go for the "Start Locations Variety Pack", despite being severely attracted by several others! It neatly encapsulates what it does, with a hint of whimsy - and also, importantly, will appear in the OXP lists beside the other main "Start" oxps. It was Mr Flibble's response which alerted me to the importance of keeping "Start" as the first word.
Again, Thank You All... I got some good laughs - and a far better variety of names than what I was coming up with myself, which greatly helped the process.

The new ReadMe in the oxz
should answer your other points above. But my understanding is that this oxp should definitely work with v.1.82. It might even work with v.1.80, but I'm unsure.
