...if, as you say, this is your magnum opus!
Well, I suppose that would be the rescaling experiment, which is so close to finished that (after my summer hiatus) I can't recall what's left to do!
It operates very recognisably compared to standard oolite, so much so that I can test oxp development using it.

I've added the download details and the version history to your wiki page, but you might care to rework it
Meanwhile thanks again.

Casting an occasional eye upon developments within Elite Dangerous I noticed with interest the new
supercruise overdrive feature and was considering posting something about it relating to what I'd been trying to do around masslock (and with this oxp in particular).
Just hours ago, this was posted:
SCO : Possibly the Most Important Change to Elite Dangerous ever made by The Buur Pit, an active E:D channel.
It makes several E:D specific points but I found it to be otherwise enormously relevant.
For anyone curious but without the ten minutes to spare, a few key moments with timestamps
- 3:50 travel times getting in the way of fun
- 5:20 'scale' or, more relevantly, time:distance and space games in general
- 6:10 game time spent doing 'nothing'
- 7:09 nostalgia vs new player retention
- 8:00 strong words indeed on the games future
You may or may not agree with either the video creator or myself but I think it's highly relevant both to what this oxp is trying to do and to many discussions around attracting new players to Oolite... Plus it's not in my prose style and so more people might actually understand it
