1970 was a good year for rock albums. This tune from the previous year was 'borrowed' and became a classic on one of them.

well!!!!!
"Running to 4 minutes 25 seconds, this instrumental is the 5th track off the band's eponymous debut album. Written by Vince Wallace and David LaFlamme, it is widely acknowledged to be the inspiration or at least the partial inspiration for the Deep Purple song "Child In Time."

According to Malcolm Dome in Deep Purple - A Critical Retrospective, Jon Lord admitted this openly, and was in fact dating It's a Beautiful Day's vocalist, Pattie Santos."
learn new things every day! today they would have been sued out of existence!

the 2 1972 Uriah Heep albums are my favorites. Demons and Wizards and Magicians Birthday. huge Moody Blues fan as well as Deep purple ,Th Who, Pink Floyd, anything Eric Clapton...and most of the bands of that era.. though never a real fan of the Rolling Stonesfor some reason

Pink Floyd by a long chalk.

Dark side of the moon
Momentary lapse of reason or
Pulse.

There are no real separate tracks to speak of. Each album is a single.

Oh, this is truly an excellent recommendation, spara! Thanks for sharing it! :D

Lately I have been playing Oolite while listening to Stellaris's soundtrack, which is very nice and very fitting as well (besides being from a really fantastic game which is one of the best sci-fi experiences I have had).
