Phew.. I was getting worried about the pending re-write of "Personalities" for a moment there..
This is an assumption...he has a history of long, un-announced absences. His current absence is why the Gorgon project is currently on hold as we have been collaborating on that. Fingers crossed that he is back soon.

Other notable absentees:-
Fatleaf, SandJ and Shipbuilder. All sadly missed as they are people I've met in RL(tm) and consider to be friends. :(

Good luck with your other evil plans projects, Thargoid! We'll keep an eye out for when you next warp in and slaughter people stop by for a chat ...

Yes! A pint by the gods! The opportunity to raise a glass to a path well traveled and a job well done.

One should never tread the same road for too long lest one becomes the road and forgets the destination!

I find popping back occasionally helps too. You should never truly finish with anything, but it is best to exit before joy becomes chore.

Have fun with the pi!

Thanks for all the reports, suggestions, boundary-pushing OXPs, and all the rest.

It's surprising how little time OXPing leaves for that.

Uh, oh. Post hoc ergo propter hoc?

Anyway, all the best lines have already been taken. All that's left for me is to note that whenever I've gone about updating my OXP folder after being absent for a while, the first action has always been to sort the OXP list by author and then scroll down to T.

PS. Don't over-indulge on the arts graduates; They can be rather fattening.

Thargoid,

Some of your oxps (repairbots, naval grid, TAP, planetfall ) have a permanent place on my harddrive.

When i started writing oxps a few years back, i often looked into your oxps to see how you did things.
(they are still a source of inspiration).

Although i don't use it myself, your ironHide oxp lead to shipTakingDamage being added and without that handler my shieldcycler wouldn't be possible.

Thank you.

Thargoid,

I would like to second many if not all of the expressions here and say that it is really hard when one of the master minds leaves.

Thank you for your great contribution to this excellent game.

Enjoy your leave
