As for what I was interested in, part of the problem is I don't remember what I used to have in 1.77. I just got everything I liked in the add-on list and now and then look over the old OXPs hoping to find something from my old game (I had something that gave me a rescue fee for captured pilots and a screen telling me who it was and what I got when I docked, for example. Haven't seen that happen in my new game)
You do realise that in most cases you can just use the OXPs themselves the same way you did before right?
On my main 1.80 installation (on the Pandora) while I have switched to using the OXZ versions where available, I'm also still using a bunch of OXPs that haven't been converted.
Wait, you mean you're not getting escape pod retrieval bonuses as well?
¿Que?
By stiffed I thought he meant that he didn't get the bounty he expected from retrieving the pilot and only a token credit for the kill?
Ah - no. I brought the pod in, but although the occupant was delivered safe and well to the station, it turned out that he was wanted by the police, who led him away, despite his loud protests. GalCop stiffed me: if he hadn't been wanted, or they'd been just a little bit less officious, I would have got C*125 from his insurance. As it was, all they gave me was a C*7 bounty chip instead. But all this happened on the station, after I'd docked and unloaded the pod. This is a normal in-game event.

Ahhhh, got it.
Need to know why I haven't gotten any of these retrieval bonuses, but I haven't had another escape pod situation to test with.

I wonder if it's the old Neolite escape pod bug (they have "unpiloted" set in their shipdata, so always carry generic Slaves rather than a named - and possibly insured or wanted - passenger)

That could be. I do use the Neolite shipset. Is it possible for me to tweak the code?
I didn't see those lines anywhere except in relation to things like asteroids and the like. So maybe that's not the cause, or I'm looking in the wrong places?

Maybe it's fixed already in the version you're using?
When you scoop an escape pod, what message do you get?

That definitely sounds like the Neolite escape pod bug, then. Maybe post the entire escape pod definition from the Neolite OXP, if you can't find it elsewhere?
