set to The Windmills Of Your Mind.
Round.
Like a slow rotating station.
Like the dark within the wheel.
Days of never ending trade
spinning stars beneath the keel.
Like a lone and harmless trader
forced to combat all too soon.
pirate reavers scenting shrapnel,
blooded orbits round a moon.
Like the vipers slowly circle.
through offenders deep in space.
Slave cargo in the hold with
frozen terror on their face.
All this and more you'll find.
Keeping Elite on your mind.
Blue busting through the tunnel
maybe misjumping all alone
where the navy test their metal
and the Thargiod saucers roam.
As golden wings, they beckon.
To too many just a dream.
sharp fact of fast rip ruin glass
followed by a silent scream.

The distant laser drilling

Shot shielding straight depleted
and the power almost gone.
Now you fear
it might all be over
You are suddenly aware.
The escape pod that you need.
