I'd be interested in hearing thoughts on this one. Not sure if I should do a "facelift" OXP, or update the original.

Anyway, here's a Pitviper II with specular+gloss maps.

Would it be possible to 'config' the facelift via an 'library' options menu with possibility to retain the original 'views' ...?

Probably not. I could *possibly* make it work for NPC ships, but not for player ships. So, it's probably best that I make this a facelift item, so only those who want it can have it, and if you want the original textures, you can simply uninstall it and everything will still work.

Wow. From memory that looks a LOT better. Almost don't notice it's a low poly model in that pic: clever use of paneling.
