No idea which hud - but you can easily move the comms to wherever you wish.

What I'm saying is, normally there are dials and stuff next to the scanner, not comms logs. Have the dials been moved about?

<grins> Yeah, I wondered if that was what you meant after I'd posted... hey-ho!

Yes, all the dials are movable, as are the other items such as scoop indicator etc. The HUD shown looks to have been made for a widescreen monitor - that arrangement wouldn't work on a 4:3 screen.

That HUD is my own. I made it back in February, I guess. As well as putting all ship systems together on the right and having wide permanent comms on the left (nice because of all the chatter that OXPs add; being wide reduces scrolling), various elements change in opacity depending on green/yellow/red alert status (e.g. you don't need most items to be bright and opaque when you're in green condition; speed, altitude, and radar need to be bright during yellow alert; shields need to be bright during red alert).
Yes, it was made for a 16:10 screen aspect with high resolution (my old system had a 22-inch monitor). The laptop I use now has a 16:9 screen but it still looks fine -- just a bit of margin on each side -- even with the lower resolution.
I could upload it, if you want to try it out. I'll write a little readme with credits where they're due.
