Or the Kiota Research Stations?
I dunno. Ask Thargoid.
It depends whether the OXP (or expansion for WildShips) that's lurking in the back of my head ever actually sees the light of day...

They're all owned by Coachwhip, it says so on the sidewinders that appear if you ping one. (The same company that owns the tourist ferries at Tianve?)
The same company that operate some of the Torus stations?

The tech level would be a good idea though, I quite like that some systems are low tech levels but then you find a station there selling Galactic Hyperdrives...
Yes, tech level is definitely wanted for stations. Equipment Price Factor (how much they rip you off on the F3 screen), too. But phrasing things right so as not to create something that looks like a debugging display is important. How do you express equipmentPriceFactor = 1.5 in an in-game way?

Perhaps produces them, I don't know. But as far as I know, Torus stations only show up as replacements for main stations, and all main stations are owned and operated by GalCop. (It is possible, though, that I modified my own copy of Torus OXP in order to remove secondary Toruses.)

It sounds to me like you're getting into the same kind of area I did with Welcome Mat - trying to pass information that is useful but in the same time not too exact.

For the price one for example, you could just do "bargain", "cheap", "average", "expensive" and "extortionate" for multipliers <0.5, 0.5-0.9, 0.9-1.1, 1.1-1.5 and >1.5 or something like that.

The Torus stations do only replace main stations - but they're all named/labelled thus:

Code: Select all

"Obnoxicorp HQ",
"GASEC",
"Virgin",
"Murgh Shipyards",
"S.A.R.",
"Space Rickshaw Co.",
"CoachWhip Inc.",
"Tradecenter"
Whether that's made by or operated by, I know not.

Info for stations (TL, type, ownership etc.) and perhaps other targetable objects could be displayed through message log like in welcome mat when targeted.

Now you're just being mischievous, spara. You already know what I'm planning.

Like others have said: Top speed (and/or current speed) would be useful, so would laser type and or number, maybe turrets, shield strength? (if not unbalancing), possibly some sort of accuracy= display elite ranking.
